Charles D. “Chuck” Arnold, 73, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 9:15 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021 in his home, following an illness.
Chuck was born on July 29, 1948 to the late Lenford and Audrey (Hampton) Arnold in Piggott, AR, and has lived in South Bend, IN since 1949. Along with his parents; he was preceded in death by his daughter, Leslie Arnold on October 7, 2021; two brothers, Steve and Mike Arnold; and one sister, Debbie Copeland.
He graduated in 1966 from Penn High School in Mishawaka, IN.
Chuck retired in 2006 as the owner/operator of Arnold and Company Heating and Air Conditioning in South Bend, IN, after 40 years.
He is survived by his son, Robert (Kristi) Arnold of South Bend, IN; three grandchildren, Chelsea Heil of Fort Myers, FL; Katelynn Fleischman of South Bend, IN; and Nicholas Fleischman of South Bend, IN.
Chuck enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
