Charles Wesley Corley, Jr, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile County, Alabama passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Corley was a shipfitter with BAE Systems in Mobile for the past fifteen years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. Corley, Sr and Winnie (Dot) Lindsey Corley, and a brother, Stanley Michael Corley.
He is survived by his daughter, Charlita Corley, Mobile, AL and one son, Stanley M. (Carol) Corley, Irvington, AL; the mother of his children, LaNita Kay Breland; 7 grandchildren, Donovan Corley, Jason Smith, Ethan Smith, Shelby Corley, Tiffany Corley, Sarah Corley, and Allie Corley.
He is also survived by two sisters, Cheryl (Rocky) Daughtry, Chunchula, AL, Becky (Charles) Hall, Wilmer, AL, two brothers, John E. Corley and Don (Sandra) Corley, both of Semmes, AL and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives. The family would like to thank the nurses at Gentiva Hospice Care for their diligence and care in the weeks preceding Charles’s death.
