MAY’S LICK Charles Clifford Corwin Jr. “Charley” 67, of 50 Buffalo Trace Ewing KY formerly of Blanchester OH a beloved father, papaw and friend to many passed away February 14, 2013 at his home with Clint and Katrina holding his hands.

Charley was born August 25, 1945 in Morrow, Ohio to the late Betty (Spangler) and the late Charles “Chick” Corwin Sr.  God made a farmer…Charley made his living as a grain farmer and a owner of a feed store in Ohio until 1995 when he moved to Ewing to raise buffalo and later rodeo stock.

Charley was a member of the National Bison Association. He participated in many buffalo shows all over the United States and Canada. From 1998 to 2002 Charley judged the buffalo show at the National Western Livestock Show in Denver as well as other state buffalo shows and auctions.

Charley’s pride and joy were his children. You would always see them together at the countless livestock shows in the ’80’s and ’90’s. He was extremely proud of his son Clint, when Clint won the 2012 Battle of the Bluegrass truck pulling series. He loved their time together in the shop and at the truck pulls.

Charley loved his grandchildren. He loved watching them show their calves and pigs at the Warren Co Fair. Charley enjoyed watching his grandchildren play basketball, baseball, football and their wrestling matches or even just ride around in the truck with him.

Charley is survived by his son Clint Corwin, his favorite daughter in law Jackie and their two daughters Addison and Whitley of Ewing, Ky. His daughter Katrina Hale her husband Matt and their children Clinton, Charley, McKinley, Cody and Cayla of Wilmington, Ohio. His son in law Billy Campbell of Mays Lick, Ky. His daughter Christi  (Kevin) Sell and their sons Noah and Jack of Alexandria, Ky., two brothers Tom (Linda) Corwin and Charles Corwin both of Clermont County and many friends from all over the country.

He will join his loving daughter Sharon Campbell in heaven as well as his father Charles Corwin Sr. and sisters Cindy Harwood and Carol Corwin.
