Charles “Charlie” Casey, Jr., age 70 of Caseyville, IL, passed away on November 9, 2020. Charlie was born December 11, 1949 at Scott Air Force Base. He had a passion of collecting toy trains and devoted an entire room to this hobby, along with collecting diecast classic cars.
He enjoyed traveling and spending time at the ocean, where you could find him riding his boogie board. Charlie was an avid dancer and could best be described as very suave and debonair. Charlie was an avid bird collector, owned many parrots and cockatiels and loved to hear them sing and talk. He was a very devoted husband and friend who will be greatly missed. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Clifford Casey, Sr. and Bienvenida Casey, nee Rivera-Mendez.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Toni Casey; three children, Charles “Charlie” (Tina) Casey, III, Dustin Hawkins and Bradley (Sam) Hawkins; two sisters, Iris Casey, and Linda (Mike) Vujnich; three brothers, Rick (Kathy) Casey, Dennis (Becky) Casey and Jerry (Cindy) Casey; grandchildren and his “best and forever friends” Don and Laura Carosello.
