Chuck worked for Killduff Feed and Grain as a feed truck driver for many years before becoming a member of the Jasper County Highway Department.
Chuck was a hard-working man whose greatest joy was his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he always made sure they were aware of his devotion. Chuck and Rita chased their grandkids to their various activities all across the state, never missing an event. Whether it be watching his grandkids play his favorite sport of baseball or sitting through a three-hour dance recital for a three-minute glimpse of his girl, Chuck was there. What was important to his family, Chuck made it of utmost importance to him, and was always a source of unwavering support. He was his grandkids’ number one fan and his presence in their lives will be greatly missed. Chuck also enjoyed fishing, deer hunting with “the boys”, playing cards with friends, camping, and cheering on the Hawks and Cardinals. His grandkids loved it when he would challenge them in a cornhole tournament.
