Charles “Chuck” Lee Abbott passed peacefully on Thursday, July 1, 2021. He is survived by his wife Barbara S. Abbott, three children, three step-children, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Chuck was born in Minnesota on June 13, 1939. Following high school, he enlisted in the Army. His 28 year career in the military included deployment to France, Vietnam, Germany and Florida USA. Chuck retired from the Army with the rank of Sergeant Major. Among the many medals he received while in the Army is the Bronze Star he earned while in Vietnam. He also obtained a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration while in the Army. Chuck’s second career was in local law enforcement.
