Charles “Chuck” Howard Johnson Sr. 72, of Fairview Park passed away on
Jan 10, 2011 at 4:21pm in the Union Hospital Clinton ER. He was born
on Nov 24, 1938 to George & Carrie Rigsby Johnson. He was a 1958
graduate of Clinton High School. He served 20 years in the U.S. Air
Force and 20 years with the U.S. Post Office in Terre Haute. He
currently employed with Mack Vault & Monument Co. He was a member of the
VFW #6653 and was an avid bowler.
He married Rose Nepote on Nov 21, 1959 and she survives. He is also
survived by a son Charles “Chas” H. Johnson Jr. & Nancy of Clinton and
a daughter Vicky Riggen & Randy of Hillsdale. Grandchildren Jeremiah,
Dwight & Gretchen Riggen and Alex, Carlie & Brandon Johnson. A mother
in law Minnie Nepote of Clinton, a brother Lige Johnson of Palm Beach,
FL., three sisters; Helen Amerman & Ann Sanders of Clinton and Jane
Coxen of California, a brother in law Domenic Nepote Jr. & Terri of
Clinton and several nieces and nephews.
will be performed by the American Legion #140 and VFW #6653.
