Charles “Chuck” Edgar Goetz, age 76, of DeMotte, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at home from complications of diabetes.
He was born June 17, 1944, in Lafayette, IN, the son of John J. and Thelma E. (LaGue) Goetz of Fowler, IN. Chuck retired from Centier Banking. He was formerly affiliated with St. Cecilia Catholic Church and a proud veteran of the United States Army Reserves. Chuck’s interests were cooking, antiquing, reading and gardening. He never met a stranger and his life became enriched when he met Andrew & Heidi Dunham and family, and then came Lincoln, Lizzzie and Will (Spence).
Chuck is survived by his sister, Mary Beth (David) Bailey; lifetime partner of 42 years, R. Dean Behnke; pets, Minnie & Hopper; and many other family & friends.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Goetz.
