Our world has lost a precious gift. Charles Allen Fields passed away peacefully on January 19, 2021. We will miss the strength of his hugs, the beauty of his smile and the contagiousness of his laughter.
Chuck is survived by his wife Victoria Lynn (Simmons); two adoring daughters Krystin Herron and Kaitlyn Buch along with their loving spouses Jonathan Herron and Cory Buch; his step son Dylan Gover; his grandchildren Adalyn and Colson, their grandmother Cynthia Fields; his father Charles Stewart Jr and his wife Rose; his sister Kimberly Fields; his brothers Benjamin Fields, Calvin Fields, Joshua Fields, and their loving spouses. Chuck is also survived by a host of loving friends and family.
“Pops” as his grandchildren so fondly called him was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 25,1965. He graduated from Eastern Technical High School in 1983 as an Automotive Technician. He started a job at Legum Chevrolet where he continued to grow his passion for Classic cars. Chuck started his own successful business from the ground up and he was proud of his accomplishments. He was honored when he was sworn in as an Auxiliary Police Officer with the Baltimore County Auxiliary Police Department. He has met so many wonderful people along the way that helped him steer his boat and celebrate life.
Anyone who knew Chuck can tell you he was a good and generous soul, and he lived a life full of love and laughter. We will all miss him hiding in the background of our lives; loving, supportive, and content with us all. Chuck loved his place here with us, until he took his last breath, with his wife and his daughters by his side.
