Charles “Chuck” Albert Barousse entered into eternal life on Saturday, September 25, 2021; he was 66 years old. He was the devoted husband of 44 years to his beloved wife, Michele Walsdorf Barousse; loving father of Matthew (Marlana), Mark, Josh, and Luke; proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Charles Albert Barousse, Sr. and Marguerite Ramos Barousse. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.Chuck was a committed family man and loved to share his passion for learning with those whom he loved. Above all things, he loved and cherished his wife of whom they would have known each other for 50 years this coming January. Chuck was an avid fisherman, and he enjoyed sharing these fun adventures with his kids and grandkids; with his most infamous adventure resulting in his pinky nearly being taken by a shark while being stranded on Ship Island. Chuck was a competitive shooter who enjoyed collecting and showcasing the tools for this activity. Like fishing, he felt shooting was a core skill of which one should master the basics. When he wasn’t winning local competitions you could find him teaching his kids and grandkids how to perfect this skill. Following his retirement, he spent his time learning and perfecting the skills of woodworking, leatherworking, painting, fishkeeping, photography, and playing the guitar. With his self-taught skills, he would design and build custom wood and leather gifts for family and friends. Although he would regularly complain that his wife and kids were giving away all of his possessions; Chuck was secretly the true giver of the family and gave the most thoughtful of gifts..Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at St..
