Charles Booker passed away on April 27, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He had been living on Lake James in Angola, his home for nearly 40 years. Chuck was born in Bluffton, IN October 25, 1939, the son of Maxine (Smith) and Clarence Booker.
He graduated from Lancaster High School and Indiana University and also received an MBA from Indiana University. His career highlights include plant management of International Harvester’s Scout Plant in Ft. Wayne, and the start-up of the military HMMWV (Hummer) plant in Mishawaka.
Surviving are his son, Jason Hoffman of Sievierville, TN; sister Yvonne (Rich) Larowe of Lincoln CA; his brother David (Becky) Booker of Geneva, IN; and his long time partner Kara McClure; he was blessed with graddaughters, Mallory and MacKenna Thiel; Step Daughter, Amanda Lombardo (Mick) Theil of Ft. Wayne; he was also the proud of stepson Marc Ianigro whose partner is Brooke Kelly and her sons, Etahn and Lucas of Greenfield, IN.
He will be missed by them and several nieces and nephews.
