Muncie Charles Batty, 85, US Army Infantry Korean War Vet born, August 17, 1931 in Muncie, the son of Jim and Treva (Sims) Batty, went home to The Lord August 3, 2017. He attended Muncie Central High School where he ran track. He worked and retired as a Supervisor after 40 years at Warner Gear. Mr.
Besides his wife of 15 years, Marilyn, he is survived by a brother, Ron Batty ;two daughters, Linn Ann Ried and Kimberly Sue Byrd (Husband-Dale); two step daughters, Carolyn Cross (husband-Mike), Amanda S. Ullman (Husband-Tommy Lee, Jr.); five grandchildren, Mollie Ried, Sara Kissick (husband-Adam), Alicia, Tricia and Gene Pankey; Many great grandchildren; his good buddies, Cecil McShirly, Rod Gardner, John Wallace and several special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jack Batty.
