Charles N. Anderson, 76, of Sawyer, Michigan died Tuesday morning, September 4, 2007.Chuck was born April 6, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Roland L. and Evelyn M. (Larsen) Anderson. He graduated from Hirsch High School and continued his education at Valparaiso University and the University of Illinois. On August 21, 1989 he married Linda DeVries in Buchanan, Michigan. He was employed as a territory sales manager for Southco, Incorporated of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, retiring in 1996 after 40 years of service.
Chuck loved the outdoors; whether it was skiing in Aspen, Colorado, boating on Lake Michigan, or golfing. He was a member of the Chikaming Country Club, Lakeside, Michigan and the Meadows Country Club, Sarasota, Florida. Chuck enjoyed a lifetime of summers at Bethany Beach of Sawyer, Michigan and the Svecia Country Club of Florence, Wisconsin where he celebrated his Swedish heritage. He was also a member of the Harbert Community ChurchSurvivors include his wife, Linda; sons, Mark Anderson of Huntsville, Alabama; Christopher Anderson of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Keith (Melinda) Anderson of Huntsville, grandchildren, Kelly, Parker, Christopher and Austin and his sister Caryl Siedlecki of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard G. Anderson.
