Charles Allen Reed, Jr, 88 of Blueville Community, Grafton passed away at Ruby Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 4, 2018. He was born in Grafton, on July 29, 1929, son of the late Charles Allen Reed, Sr. and Ida Blanche Duckworth Reed, and was preceded in death by his wife Lola Mae Reed, December 16, 2009.
Charles was a US Army Veteran and was a member of the Grafton VFW Memorial City Post 3081. He was a member of the Blueville Church of Christ. Charles worked as foreman for the Steel Mills in Cleveland, OH. He loved to work out in his yard, enjoyed his grandchildren, and being outdoors.
He is survived by, one son, Richard Allen Reed and wife Lisa, Beverly, WV; one daughter, Sally J. Skidmore and husband George of Mentor, OH; nine grandchildren, Brian, Dan, Kristen, Scott, Kyle, Elise, Katy, Tyler, and Ellie; the newest great grandson, Jackson Charles Joe.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
