Charles Alexander Hawkins Jr., better known as “Buck” to his family and friends, was born June 4, 1982 to Charles Alexander Hawkins St. and Carrie Andrews. He was native of Chunchula and a resident of Mobile. Charles made his earthly transition on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2020.

Following high school, Charles attended the Job Corps in Montgomery, where he received a trade in carpentry. He later enlisted in the United States Army. 

Charles enjoyed fishing, gaming, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, RJ (Willie Mae) Hawkins, James B. Cox and Willie Lewis Chapman.

Left to cherish his loving memories are his wife, Iesha Prince Hawkins of Mobile; one beloved daughter, Kamia Norwood of Jackson; four stepchildren, Imydre Prince, Llivia Prince, Imyrion Prince and Irianna Prince, all of Mobile; his mother, Carrie (Freddie) Andrews of Jackson; father, Charles Alexander Hawkins Sr. of Mobile; one beloved grandmother, Chinnisha Chapman of Jackson; two sisters, LaTosha (Kenneth) Daniels of Montgomery and Tanisha Hawkins of Jackson; two brothers, Roshaun Hawkins of Jackson and David Turner of Springfield, Mo.; with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
