Charles Max Alexander passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016, in Phoenix, Arizona, due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease. Charles was born on October 12, 1924, to Blaine H. and Edith Marie Alexander in Phoenix, Arizona, the third of five children. He attended Kenilworth Elementary School and later graduated in the first graduating class at North High School. In his youth, he loved horses and being involved in the Boy Scouts. After he graduated from high school, he joined the Army Air Corp and learned to fly.
