Charles A.Haskell, II
Charles A. Haskell II (b. May 2, 1937) of Englewood, Colorado, died peacefully on December 8, 2016, at the age of 79. Charles was the second eldest son of the late Charles and Irene Haskell. He attended Regis High School and after serving in the United States Marine Corps, returned to Denver and received his B.S.B.A. degree in Accounting from the University of Denver. After beginning his professional career as a CPA with Price Waterhouse in New York, he returned to his native Denver and took a position with the brokerage firm of Bosworth & Sullivan. This new career would span five decades of changes and mergers in the firm but never in his wavering of providing sound investment advice for his clients. He retired as vice president and investment officer of RBC Wealth Management in 2012.
Among Chuck’s outside interests were car racing and golf. He appreciated vintage cars having been the proud owner of a 1939 Ford and a 1947 Lincoln. He made pilgrimages to the “Indy 500” for many years, most recently with his son, Stephen, and grandson, Ryan. He was a close follower of the NASCAR standings.
Chuck was an avid golfer and a longtime member of Cherry Hills Country Club.
Immediate survivors include his children, Kate (Alan Regimbal) of Bellingham, WA, and Stephen (Stacy) of Littleton, his five grandchildren, Grant, Sophia, Gabriel, Elle and Ryan as well as siblings Roger (Maryann) of Scotia, NY, Russell (Sue) of Denver, Daniel (Marcy) of Englewood, Dana Patton of New York City and Jenean Jones of Silver Spring, MD. Also surviving is his former wife Sheila Dick Haskell of Littleton.
