Charlene Pierce, 86, of Anderson, passed away on December 26, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on February 22, 1934, in Frankfort, Indiana. Charlene was the Valedictorian of the Summitville High School, Class of 1952. She attended First Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed playing the organ and cards. She retired as an administrative assistant at Fort Benjamin Harrison Finance Center.
Charlene is survived by her daughters, Deborah A. (Roderick) Reeves of Anderson, IN, and Linda (David) Thompson of Middletown, IN; grandchildren, Adrian (Renae) Reeves, Jennifer Reeves, Chris (Angie) Norris, Lori Mendenhall, Randall Norris, Anthony Norris, Melissa Norris, Jesse Thompson, Rebecca Thompson; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Charlotte Borror of Muncie, IN, Mary Goodpaster of Summitville, IN, Charles (Mary Jo) Hall of SC, several nieces, nephews and special friends including, Barb Algood, Barb McDowell, Mary Ann Sturgeon, and Von Gasper.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jerry F. Pierce; grandson, Jordan Anthony Reeves; parents, Cecil and Ruth Hall.
