Chantelle Renee (Alli) Scholes, 43, of Brownstown, formerly of Centralia, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois with her husband, mother and aunts by her side. She was born July 15, 1976 in Centralia, the daughter of Gary Alli and Marie Hixenbaugh.
She married Bryan Scholes on October 10, 2015 in St. Elmo and he survives in Brownstown. In addition to her husband, Bryan Scholes of Brownstown, she is also survived by her mother, Marie Hixenbaugh of Centralia; her father: Gary D. Alli of Roanoke, Virginia; brother: Michael Hixenbaugh of Centralia; a step-brother: Gary Alli, Jr. of Virginia; two uncles and five aunts: Major Dale E. Hixenbaugh and wife Major JoAnn of Rockford, IL, Charlene Hays and husband Steve of Sandoval, Patti Hutton of Centralia, Sandy Shipley and special friend Bruce Tettemer of Salem, Danny Hixenbaugh of Centralia, Cristy Buchanan and husband Wesley of Wayne City, and Jason Hixenbaugh of Centralia; numerous cousins; three God Daughters: Anastasia Mitchell, Mercedes Mitchell, and Destiny Mitchell, and her mother-in-law: Dianna Scholes of Beecher City, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Jennifer Renee Alli, maternal grandparents: Clara Edwards and Billy D. Hixenbaugh, Sr., paternal grandparents, two aunts: Debra Sue Hixenbaugh and Sherry Hixenbaugh, and two uncles: Juvenile Hixenbaugh and Gary Shipley. Chantelle became an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church. Chantelle enjoyed scrapbooking and working on puzzles with her husband. She loved spending time with her family, friends and her fur babies: Ozzie, Boots, Simba, Sissy, Kiki, and Joey.
