Chad William Hogwood, age 20, of Atlanta, IN, died Sunday, September 26, 2010 as a result of an auto accident near Arcadia, IN. He was born January 15, 1990 at Tipton, IN to William Jeffery and Angela Sue (Comer) Hogwood.
He was a graduate of Hamilton Heights High School Class of 2008. During his high school years he was on the wrestling team. Chad then served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. He also worked with his father in the construction business. He enjoyed hunting and 4-wheeling with his friends.
He married Sarah (Uhrick) Hogwood on June 3, 2008. She survives him. Also surviving him is a daughter: Ayvah Lynne Hogwood, Chad’s father: Jeff (Brenda) Hogwood of Greenfield, IN, his mother: Angela Sue Hogwood of Atlanta, IN, brother: Craig (Stacy) Hogwood of Sharpsville, IN, sisters: Christy Hogwood of Greenfield, IN, Caitlin Hogwood of Noblesville, IN, grandparents: Frank and Carolyn Branum of Crossville, TN, and Myrna Brown of Kempton, IN, step-sister: Niki Nolen of Greenfield, IN, step-brother: Hart Summeier of Greenfield, IN, and a niece: Natalie Moreland of Greenfield.
His grandfather, Floyd Brown passed away the day before Chad’s death.
