Chad was born on November 9, 1988 in Norwich, CT to James and Donna (Wilson) Butler. He was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School and Illinois Valley Community College. Chad loved photography. He was a member of the Ottawa Art League, Ottawa Farmers Market, Grateful Plains CSA, and ONYX.
He is survived by his parents, James and Donna, of Ottawa, a brother, Aaron Butler, of Tallahassee, FL, paternal grandparents, Henry B. (Mary) Tanton, of Eureka, IL maternal grandparents Don (Doris) Wilson, of Princeville, IL, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
