Chad Henry Hatleberg, age 40, a resident of Riviera Beach since May of 2008, and previously of Long Beach, California, passed on January 2, 2015.
He was born on May 29, 1974, in Long Beach, to Wayne and the late Katharyne Wrobleski Hatleberg. A graduate of San Clemente High School in 1992, he enlisted in the US Air Force, working as a Special Purpose Vehicle and Equipment Mechanic. Honorably discharged in 1996, he had received an outstanding performer award and long tour ribbon while stationed at Al Kharj Air Base, Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm/Shield in 1994. He was ASE Master Certified in both Automotive and Heavy Equipment. Between 1997 and 2001, while living at Yokota Air Base, Japan, he worked as district manager for Webco General Partnership, managing over 40 team members and responsible for over 20 million annually in sales. In May 2014 he graduated from the University of Maryland University College with a BS in cyber security, and became a “Certified Ethical Hacker” in December of that year. He was currently employed by Accuvant/Fishnet working as a Cyber Security Consultant.
Along with his Mom, Chad is preceded in death by his grandmother Evelyn Wrobleski; his grandparents Mertle “Nana” and Maynard Hatleberg; and two uncles: Mark and Rodney Wrobleski.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years: Jackie Baltimore Hatleberg; his two little girls: Sierra Kathryn, age 4, and Brianna Grace, age 2; “Daddy we love you to the sky and back!” – his father Wayne Hatleberg and his wife Donna, of San Clemente, CA; his sister Heidi Hatleberg-Shields and her husband Rich, of Litchfield Park, AZ; his brother Donovan Hatleberg and his wife Shelly, of Roseville, CA; his grandfather Hank Wrobleski, of Sun City West, AZ; aunts and uncles: Nancy Wrobleski-Varga and her husband Bob, of Fawnskin, CA, Debra Wrobleski-Johnston and her husband Bill, of Garden Valley, CA, Sandy and Gary Mamola, of Coeur de A’leve, Idaho, Patty Glenn, Teri Hatleberg, Debbee and Steve Pezman, Maynard “Jr” Hatleberg, and Greg Hatleberg, all of San Clemente, CA, and Jeanne Olms, of San Juan Capistrano, CA; and a plethora of cousins.
