Chad was born in New Iberia, LA on April 5, 1980, to the late Roger Dale Shampine and the late D’aun Thibeaux Shampine. The family later moved to Loreauville, LA, where he was raised. From a baby he had a caring soul and was a free spirit. As a young child he loved raising animals and building model cars. He lived in several states including Arizona, and Colorado.
Chad is survived by his significant other Dina Hocker of New Iberia, LA; Sons Khalil and Khahiree Shampine of Arizona; Step-son Omari Hocker of Arizona; Daughter Tashala Jizzelle Shampine of Arizona; Step-daughter Ari Streeter-Hocker of Arizona; Brother Travis Matthew Shampine of New Iberia; Sisters Tracie Shampine of Loreauville, LA and Melanie and husband Marcus Baranco of New Iberia, LA.
