Chad E. Lewis, age 40, of Bridgeport, WV, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. He was born on August 20, 1975 in Clarksburg, WV, the son of Gary Beatty and Cheryl (Lewis) Beatty of Hepzibah, WV.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, KC (Archer) Lewis of Bridgeport, WV; three daughters, Veronica Lewis, Kaitlyn Lewis and Bethany Lewis, all of Bridgeport, WV; three brothers, Paul Lewis, Bobby Hill and Jeff Lewis, all of Clarksburg, WV; three sisters, Kim Hill of Stonewood, WV, Tammy Jo Watkins of Bridgeport, WV and Jennifer Sumpter & her husband, Brian of Morgantown, WV; father-in-law, Jim Archer & his wife, Taffy of Fairmont, WV; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Chad is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Michael Garrett Watkins; and his mother-in-law, Karen Archer.
Chad graduated in 1993 from Roosevelt-Wilson / Washington Irving High School, where he lettered in all Sports. He attended college in North Carolina on a basketball scholarship. Chad was a 2003 graduate at Fairmont State College, where he received his PTA Degree. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Lakers Fan. Chad was the best dad to his three girls and would do anything he could for them. He will be remembered for all the good things that he has done.
