Chad David Anderson, son, father, grandfather, and brother passed away at his home in Phoenix, Arizona on September 16, 2022.
Chad was born on May 29, 1963 in Ogden, Utah, to Scott Anderson and LouAnn McFarland Anderson. He grew up in Payson, AZ where he graduated from Payson High School in 1981. He then received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering degree with a Minor in Manufacturing from the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Arizona.
He is preceded in death by his father, Scott Anderson. He is survived by his three daughters Chelsee Anderson, Karlie Fritz (Bobby), and Tessa Smith (Kelby), six grandchildren (Sara, Kai, Avery, Kason, Stormie, Kaezlyn,) his mother LouAnn, his brothers Michael Anderson (Stacey), Eric Anderson (Wendy), and Jason Anderson (Kim), his sisters Krista Breinholt (Frankie) and Nicole Welly (Nate), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chad was talented in a wide variety of woodworking including handmade bowls as well as beautiful woodworking designs for luxury homes. He learned to scuba dive and was a voracious reader. He also enjoyed yard work, gardening, and cooking gourmet meals.
Chad was a talented piano player and also played the trumpet in high school. He appreciated all types of music from blue grass to opera and everything in between. He delighted in discovering new music and sharing it with his mother. His artistic nature included photography and he had an eye for creating beautiful photographs. He originally worked with film cameras and built his own darkroom to develop his photos.
Despite the many struggles he suffered during his lifetime, Chad always sought to be well-rounded and always tried to bring beauty to this life. He loved his family and especially his daughters. He is loved dearly by his family and will be greatly missed.
