Cesarea “Sara” Trigilio, 82, of Berlin, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the Hospital of Central CT. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Trigilio and loving mother of the late Vincenzo Trigilio. Born in Sortino, Italy, on May 25, 1931, she lived in New Britain before moving to Berlin 25 years ago. Mrs. Trigilio retired from Emhart Corp., Berlin after many years of employment. She was a member of St. Ann’s Church and the Santa Sofia Society, both of New Britain. Her survivors include her daughter Linda C. Trigilio, and her son Anthony Trigilio, both of New Britain, three grandchildren Vincent, Angela and Daniel, and four great grandchildren Anthony, Owen, Adrian and Nicholas. She also leaves a sister Rosa Rapisarda and her husband Giuseppe of New Britain, and three brothers, Sofio Lanteri and his wife Elvira, Antonio Lanteri and his wife Cathy, all of New Britain, and Sebastiano Lanteri of Farmington, her best friend and beloved sister-in-law Santina “Sandra” Trigilio of Newington, devoted and caring friend CC Lorduy of New Britain, and many nieces and nephews.
