Celina B. ‘Wee’ Acosta- -Maldonado, beloved daughter 28, transitioned into her eternal resting place on September 23, 2021. She entered this world on April 16, 1993, in Hobbs, New Mexico, born to Benito and Christine Maldonado. She is survived by her husband Alejandro Medina, son I’zayah Medina, daughter Aza’lee Medina, mother Christine Maldonado; father Benito Maldonado; sister Vanessa Herrera; brother-in-law Jose “Max” Herrera; nieces Chloe and Cienna Herrera. and preceded in death by her beautiful baby boy Angel Maldonado, maternal grandmother Susana Rendon, paternal grandfather Modesto B. Tino Maldonado, 2 Tios Gilbert and Carlos Maldonado, her prima Abigail Balboa Maldonado and her favorite Tia Celia Ortega.
Celina was a loving mother, wife, daughter, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. Her beautiful children were her reason, her world and her pride and joy. Her beautiful green eyes were her trademark. And when she entered any room, she lit it up with her contagious smile. Celina was the life of the party and loved listening to her favorite music while going on country cruises. She was, as her generation would say “always down for whateva”.
Knowing Celina, you knew that she was goofy, outgoing, outspoken, free spirited and an all-around girl She loved sports, basketball volleyball and softball, her favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys, LA Lakers, and LA Dodgers.
Gone too soon, but never forgotten.
