Falling Waters, WV – Celia Marie (Crampton) Olson, 71, went home to Heaven on Saturday, October 22, 2022, in Martinsburg, WV surrounded by her loved ones.

Celia was born June 6, 1951, to the late Ernest E. Crampton and the late Betty F. Crampton of Washington, D.C.

She was a 1969 graduate of Duval High School and a 1973 graduate of UMBC.  She attended Southeastern University for 2 years where she was a School Nurse and focused on Biblical studies.  She also attended the University of Quebec and studied French.  She received her MSN from South University in Charleston, SC.  Later in life, she taught Nursing at the University of Louisiana and University of Maryland Frostburg Campus.

Celia is survived by the love of her life of 45 years, David E, Olson.  Her daughters, Heather M. Olson and Amanda L. Olson.  Her 7 grandchildren whom she loved very much: Savannah, Alexia, Josiah, Hailee, Jeffrey, Kinsleigh, and Everleigh.  Her sister Diane Raynes and her husband, Greg Raynes.  Her niece, Janine DiGiovanni and her husband, John Paul and their 2 children, Samuel and Cara.  Her nephew, Gregory Raynes and his wife, Juliet.

Celia loved God more than anything and her faith truly showed it.  Even after the deadly disease of ALS, she never gave up or stopped believing.  She knew the end result was to go home to be with her Lord and Savior.  She was always full of love and laughter (even with her dry sense of humor).  She loved to cook and read all kinds of books, but most of all she loved to go to her beach house in Ocean City, MD and spend long days on the beach.

She loved to sing and play music on the piano and the clarinet.  She also enjoyed traveling and working as a Missionary with her husband around the world.
