On Monday, March 19th 2012, she departed this life leaving her body of pain and suffering to
live with her savior Jesus Christ. She died at The Eckstein Center, a palliative care facility of
Hospice of The Valley in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was 97 years old and died of complications
resulting from a broken hip. She was born in Evanston, Illinois and lived there from her early
childhood until 1960, when she and her family moved to Skokie, Illinois. She then moved to
Glenview, Illinois until she relocated with her family to Scottsdale, Arizona. She graduated from
Evanston High School in 1934. She worked for Evanston Hospital as a switchboard operator and
later became a communications specialist. She worked there for 35 years before retiring. She
was preceded in death by her beloved husband Walter Stanley and her parents Ignatius and
Bernice Adamek. She is survived by her son Walter Tubilewicz Sr of Scottsdale, Arizona;
grandchildren Walter Jr, Christopher, Jennifer and Laura; Great grandchildren Tabitha, Sam,
Lorelai and Xander. Her life was filled with many trials and tribulations but she persevered in
spite of them. She always worked relentlessly to provide for her loved ones and passed
peacefully with them near.
