Celeste M. Kwit, 64, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, January 24 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa. Celeste was born May 28, 1954, to Vincent and Florence (Lietl) Nachtwey in Chicago. She worked at Advantage Logistics in Oglesby, Illinois, and was a waitress at Bee Hive in Ottawa for many years. She married Robert A. Kwit in Chicago on March 7, 1979.
She was survived by her husband, three children: Marseilles “Marcy” (Frank Tomberlin) Drake of Marseilles, Robert J. Kwit of Ottawa, and Rachel (Jordan) Brisbois of Wenona, two grandchildren Dominic A. Drake and Noah J. Brisbois; a sister, Sandra L. (Thomas) Przybyla, of Ottawa, and a brother William D. (Kim Csecsinovits) Aug of Dwight.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Marseilles Nachtwey and two brothers Vincent Nachtwey, Jr. and Timothy H. Nachtwey.
