Mr. Cecilio Medina, age 92, passed away peacefully by his wife’s side on June 17, 2020 at Piedmont Hospital in Newnan, Georgia. Mr. Medina was born on May 11, 1928 in Oriente, Cuba to the late Cecilio Medina Elias and the late Ana Luisa Medina Cata’. He was a farmer at heart but also a proud member of the teamsters for many years. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Oreste Medina, Rivail Medina, Galilea Busto, and Miriam Medina. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anabel Medina; children Rivail Medina (Gloria) and Anabel Kay (Thomas); grandchildren Michael Medina (Suzie) and Kristian Dieumegard (Suzi); great-grandchildren Rebecca Medina, Kathryn Medina and Niam Dieumegard.
