Cecile Bard Godfroy 87, died May 1, 2015 at the Ballou Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph Godfroy. Born in Canada, November 22, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Therriault) Richard. Cecile was a homemaker for most of her life. She loved watching hockey and was a huge fan of the Bruins. Cecile also enjoyed reading and making jigsaw puzzles, but her greatest love was her family.
She is survived by two sons, Nelson Bard and Daniel Bard, and daughter Louise Bard all of Woonsocket, a sister Yvette Caron of Canada, four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was also the mother of the late Robert Bard, and sister of the late Thomas, Adelard, Lauriat and Lionel Richard, Yvonne Couturier and Laurette Rioux.
