DURHAM- Mr. Cecil George Thomas Vaughan, 87, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020.
Mr. Vaughan was born on March 11, 1932 to Lonnie and Gladys Vaughan in Vance County, NC. He was a member of Durham Memorial Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon, sang in the choir, and taught Sunday School. He loved to bake sweets and enjoyed playing golf. He loved his birds and called them his dependents. Cecil will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Mr. Vaughan was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Gladys Vaughan; daughter, Brenda Dry; brother, Lawrence Vaughan; and grandson, Brian Dry.
