A Celebration of Life for Cecil “Peewee” Kennedy, age 52, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021, will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the home of his sister, Katy Johnson, 32 Lorentz Drive, Picayune, MS 39466.Arrangements under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.A native of Picayune, MS, he was a retired from the MS National Guard, where he was a 20 year War Veteran. Peewee was an Executive Chef and a member of the Baptist faith. He loved to fish and cook, and he enjoyed time with his family and friends. Peewee will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.He was preceded in death by his father, Randy Clark Bounds.Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Cathy Dian Kennedy Odom; his daughter, Ashleigh Kennedy; his grandchildren, Creedence Thornhill and Chloe Thornhill; his sisters, Katy Johnson and Diana Matthews; his brother, Tony Bounds; his nephew, Andrew Matthews; and his nieces, Riley Johnson, and McKinley Matthews.
