Cecil Milton Wethy was born in Miami, Florida in 1925. He attended Miami Senior High School and at age 17 entered the Navy to serve in WWII.
Cecil enjoyed car and motorcycle racing, all sporting events, building model airplanes and using his engineer’s mind to build and tinker with anything mechanical. He enjoyed nothing more than attending his kids and grandkids events. He rarely missed any and was always the first to arrive, making sure he had the best seat in the house! He was as devoted as anyone could be to his family, supporting them in all their endeavors.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents and brother Roy as well as his son Robert. He is survived by his wife Nancy, his children Melissa, Roy (Lillian) and Laura, his grandchildren Carson, Alex (Jacky), Ryan, Nick, Austin, Zack, Matthew, Jake, Andrew, Nathan and Wesley, as well as his great grandchildren Gavin, Ethan and Savannah and his sisters Lucille and Harriet.
