Mr. Cecil Jesse Cheek, was born June 4, 1949 in Pleasant Hill, NC to the late Jesse Elbert and Mary Alice Cheek. He departed this earthly life on November 04, 2018 at his home.
Cecil was a very friendly and funny person. He loved people and never met a stranger. He loved working on automobiles and lawn mowers. He retired from Teague Mowing.
Cecil was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Harris Cheek; father, Jesse Elbert Cheek, son Celester (Buck) Blackwell; brothers, Fletcher Cheek, Walter Cheek, Wilton Cheek and Richard Cheek; two sisters, Ophelia Brady and Maude Mitchell.
Cecil leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Mary Lois Lee Cheek of the home; two daughters, Lisa Marsh Blackwell of Randleman, NC and Quniella Harris of Concord, NC; one brother, Syvester Cheek (Sharon) of Ramseur, NC; four sisters, Romelia Hairston (Chester) of Fieldale, VA, Gracie Jackson of Dobbin Heights, NC, Janie Gaymon (Marion) of Greensboro, NC and Mildred Davis of Asheboro, NC; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
