Cecil J. Smith, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 23, 2017. He was born July 14, 1925 in Clarence, Kentucky to the late James and Cora Hughes Smith. Cecil was employed at Chrysler Corporation for over 15 years, retiring in 1980. He married Bessie Reynolds on April 10, 1948 in Somerset, Kentucky and she survives. Cecil was a veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps as a Purple Heart recipient.
Cecil is survived by his wife Bessie; son Jim Price; two grandchildren Meg Taylor and Katie Cottle; three great-grandchildren Jackie, Hannah, Harlow and several nieces and nephews.
