Cecil Michael “Mike” Hughes, 69, of Pell City, died Friday, March 24, 2017, after a long battle with prostate cancer. Mr. Hughes was born March 23, 1948, in Birmingham to Cecil and Louise Hughes. He worked as a firefighter and paramedic for the City of Birmingham. He retired as a lieutenant after twenty years.
