It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cecil Carroll Highland on July 15, 2015 at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on March 2, 1923 in Parkin, AR. He is survived by daughter Darleen Highland, son Terry Highland, granddaughter Chasiti Temple, and seven great grandchildren. He was a Past Master of Scottsdale Lodge #43, a member of El Zaridah Shrine – Director Staff. He also volunteered at St Vincent De Paul food kitchen with the Scottish Rite Masons for many years. He served as Past patron of Eastern Star and Past Royal Patron of Amaranth in Scottsdale. He served in WWII with the navy C.B.’s.
