Cecelia C. Napier, 93, of Tanglewood Lane in Mishawaka, Indiana, formerly of Burbank Avenue in South Bend, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2005, at Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Cecelia was born on November 18, 1912, in South Bend to John and Victoria (Switalski) Dlugosz.
Cecelia retired in 1985 from Inwoods after 40 years of service as a buyer and clerk in the house ware department. Prior to Inwoods, she was employed with Wilson Brothers Shirt Factory.
On October 19, 1963, Cecelia married Louis J. Napier, who preceded her in death on August 11, 1994. Surviving are one niece and two nephews, including, Edward (Rosemary) Dlugosz of Mishawaka; grand nieces, Anne (Duane) Flaig of South Bend, Mary (Phillip) Kramer of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; a grand nephew, Christopher (Amy) Dlugosz of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and three great grand nieces, Susan & Cecila Kramer, and Ainsley Flaig.
Cecelia was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She had many friends and enjoyed a good meal and was also a very generous person.
