Caydi Lynn Deckard, 34, of Anderson, passed away on June 9, 2020, at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
She was born on May 28, 1986, in Anderson, IN. Caydi was a beautiful soul. She always lit up the room when she entered. She was a free spirit that was witty, smart, and funny. She loved to sing, dance, have a good time and make others laugh with her goofy side; (even if you were down). Caydi always saw the good in others and had a heart of gold. Caydi worked most recently as a landscaper at Steve’s Lawn Care in Anderson, IN and as a waitress at John’s Diner in Alexandria, IN. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Linnie Paige; grandfather, Robert Holman; her aunt, Bobbi Holman; and her adopted father, Dennis McDole.
Caydi is survived by her loving biological mother, Beth Ann Cheesman & adopted mother, Geneva McDole; along with estranged husband Lamech Gadd; daughter Kinley Hughs; ex-mother in law Linda Hicks; adoptive mother of Caydi’s, and ex-husband Kyle Deckard’s daughter’s, Kylie Deckard, and Aubri Deckard; Adoptive sisters, Angie Goodman, and Shanon Southerland; brothers, Tanner McDole, David Hudson, and Jeffrey Cheesman, along with several aunts ,uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, Ashley & Ashley, Brandon, Bridget, Chad, Chelsea Cody, Devin, Eli, Ethan, Gabby, Heather & Heather, Jonathon, Kahla, Krystle, Rick, Shelby, Steven, TJ, Todd, Tory, Torri, Zach and many more nieces and nephews as well as friends and family that loved her very much.
