WEST HARTFORD; Cathy Susan Guarnieri, 61, of West Hartford, formerly of Simsbury, passed away on Thursday April 12, 2012 at her home.
Cathy was born November 21, 1950 in New Haven, to the late Anthony and Violet (Thomas) Guarnieri. Cathy grew up in Hamden and graduated from Hamden High School. She received a 6th year Professional Diploma of Advanced Studies in School Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University.
Cathy is survived by her sister, Dianne Spignesi, her nephew Robert Spignesi, Jr., and her niece Tricia (Spignesi) Scully. She is also survived by her good friends, Lesly Bartlett, Morgan Fleming, Beth McCabe, and Andrew and Anna Warren.
