Cathy L. Crowel, 67, of Three Oaks, Michigan, died peacefully, Thursday morning, March 5, 2015 at Franciscan Communities Hospice in Michigan City, Indiana after a long struggle with Multiple Sclerosis.Cathy was born November 24, 1947 in Michigan City to Alfred and Marjorie (Flick) Siuda.
She married Richard Crowel and together they had six children. Her children were her focus. In addition to caring for her home and preparing meals, she enjoyed playing board games, being a listening ear, welcoming friends into her home, and watching over the neighborhood. Cathy also enjoyed gardening, playing cards, dice games, and watching her favorite T.V. programs.
Most of all, Cathy loved her family.Survivors include her children, Michele (Dale) Hekter of Michigan City; Troy Anthony (Debra) Crowel of LaPorte, Indiana; Bobbie Crowel of LaPorte; Jeffrey (Toni) Crowel of Niles, Michigan; Michael (Ruby) Crowel of Three Oaks and Brandi (Ron) Farlie of Michigan City; grandchildren, Ryan, Daniel, Tyler, Troy, Diana, Allan, Eric, Victoria, Steven, Allie, Angela and Tiffany; great grandchildren, Abby, Kaiden, Gage, Jocelyn, Austin, Jade, Josh, Austiana, Adam, Ashton, Austyn, Sophia, Rilegh, Blake, Kaleb, Kaylie, Madison and Adison; and her sisters Nancy (Jim) Miles of Three Oaks and Sharon Hays of Texas.
