Cathy Ann Powell, age 57, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Piedmont Hospital in Newnan, GA. She was born in Villa Rica, GA on October 9, 1961 to the late Francis Meinhold and Mary E. Mayfield. Along with her parents, Cathy is preceded in death by her step mother, Catherine M. Meinhold. She is survived by her children, Chrystal Pettus (Michael), Christopher Carver (Alisha); grandchildren, Shawn, Hunter, Chris, J.J., Jarrett, Carol, Andrew, Mackenzie, Autumn; siblings, Laurie Songer, Tracy Jenkins and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survive by her beloved dogs, Fred, Bella and her cat Heady. Cathy was a beloved mother and was known for her love for animals.
