Catherine Zimmer, 75, of Markleville, passed away on November 11, 2014 at her residence.
She was born on July 7, 1939 in Markleville, where she resided most of her life in Markleville. Catherine graduated from Markleville High School, and served her country in the United States Navy. She was a member of The Vietnam Veterans Association, and the American Legion in Anderson.. She was an avid Indiana University Basketball, and Indianapolis Colts Fan, and she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Catherine is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Zimmer, children, Steve Zimmer, Marcus Zimmer, Dianne (John) Eigenbrod, Casendra (Lanny) Kennedy, grandchildren, Tori, Sami, Gavin, and Brody Zimmer, Zach, Zara, and Zed Zimmer, Kameron, and Alli Kennedy, Doug Luken, and Colan Eigenbrod, and many great-grandchildren. Brothers, Bruce, and Bobby; sisters Judy, and Cindy. Special sister-in-law, Pat Pederson, and special friend, Lisa Pearce.
She was preceded in death by son, Lucas Zimmer, mother, Thelma Pederson, father, Henry Pederson, siblings, Lavern “Pete”, Norine, Belle, Betty, and Henrietta.
