Catherine Smallwood, 78, of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away at 12:20 PM, Sunday, July 24th, at Shady Nook Care Center. Catherine was born in Old Landing, KY on October 28, 1932, a daughter of the late Loueda (Thacker) and Bert Riley. She was a homemaker and also worked for Area 12 Council on Aging in Dillsboro, IN. She married Albert Smallwood in 1956 and to this union a daughter, Patricia was born. Catherine liked to read and do crossword puzzles. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Catherine is survived by
a daughter, Patricia (Andy) McKinley, of Aberdeen, IN;
by grandsons- Joshua Turner of Milan, IN and Jacob Turner of Lawrenceburg, IN
by a great grandson, Eli Turner
three sisters, Oma Young, of Dayton, OH; Alice Long, of Dayton, OH; Lula King, of Irvine, KY.
a brother, Sam Riley, of Dayton, OH;
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, by brothers, George, Robin & Speed and by sisters, Mandy, Lona, Polly & Sarah.
