On Saturday April 3rd 2022 at 1 130 a.m. Catherine went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Cookie, as she was known to her loved ones, was born to immagrent Albanian parents Gus and Roksani Karakosta on Nov 10, 1945 in Chicago Ill. Sister to Penelope Grabova and predeced in death by her brother William (Connie) Karakosta, a loving aunt to 7 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews but most of all a friend to all she met and knew.
Cookie loved being around family and friends, she was a poet, a cook, loved classical music and cooking for others and somehow this just all tied in together with great joy and laughter.
