Catherine (Reilly) Morency, age 64, died on December 14, 2020 at her home in Plymouth, MA surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with gallbladder was born to the late Nancy (King) and Lawrence Reilly and was raised in Lowell, MA. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy (Tyngsboro), Georgetown University with a B.S. in Nursing, and UMass Lowell with an M.S. in Gerontological Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse and geriatric nurse practitioner at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and then as Healthcare Coordinator for the New England Province of the Society of was a devoted member of St. Catherine’s parish in Westford, MA, where she and her husband of 31 years, Francis raised their children Peter of Medford, MA and Emily of Raleigh, NC, before retiring to Plymouth, MA two years ago.Along with her husband and children, Kate is survived by siblings Ann of York, ME, Elizabeth of York, ME, Peter of New Paltz, NY, Thomas of Washington, DC, and Matthew of York, ME., as well as a large extended family and friends, all who cherished devoted her life to the care of others. Her Catholic faith remained the source of her strength throughout her life. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, compassion, commitment, sense of humor, grace and fun-loving spirit.
