Catherine “Katie” M. Bopp passed away peacefully in Yuma, Arizona on March 14th, 2013 to be with her Lord and Savior. Catherine Marie Martinis was born to Paul Sr. and Pearl Martinis on January 20, 1936 in Everett, Washington.
Katie graduated from Everett High School. Everett was where she worked and raised her four children. She worked as an elementary school secretary 17 years. She married her husband Roger in 1982, and then worked at their business, Roger’s Carpets until they retired. Katie loved the outdoors that called her near the water. In her younger years she enjoyed water-skiing, water ski-jumping and teaching others to swim in Lake Stevens, Washington, where her parents had a summer home.
