Catherine M. Foy “Cass” of Marlton passed away on Friday at the age of 66. Cass will be remembered for being a compassionate and caring person with a big heart. She was the first female dispatcher for the Burlington Township Police Department, and later became the first woman Journeyman Electrician in New Jersey, working with I.B.E.W. Local # 269 in Trenton.
Following her career as an electrician, Cass joined the New Jersey State Police, retiring as a Senior Operator/Supervisor. Cass’ most cherished accomplishment was being “Memom” to her three grandchildren. Cass was the published author of “Time to Love” and also started a children’s book with her grandson. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, researching her family history, and organized the Foy/Repici family reunions. Catherine is predeceased by her parents Dennis and Sarah (Repici)Foy; her beloved son Frank Scott “Buddy” Wilder, III, siblings Dennis Foy, James Foy, Senator Thomas Foy, Lt. Col (Ret.)/Mayor Joseph Foy, Sr., Linda Repici, Mary Foy and nephew Greg Shaffer.
She is survived by her daughter and son- in -law Thea (Mike) Chrupcala; grandchildren Michael, Jr., Madison, Rylee; sister MaryAnn Rivell, Joe Repici who was like a brother to her; uncle Nick Repici; aunt Edith Repici, her sisters in law Carol Foy, Jamie Foy. She is also survived by her dearest nieces and nephews: John (Carol), Mark (Delmira) Shaffer, Michael (Kathy), Renee (Robbie), Joseph, Jr., Kimberly Foy, Chris (Amy), Dennis Rivell, Sarah (Tim) Dunne, Brian, Allie Foy, as well as many cousins and friends and her former husband Frank S. Wilder II.
